Eastern Carolina Community Foundation in partnership with the Marlboro County Coordinating Council is proud to bring you #GivingTuesday Pee Dee in conjunction with the international day of giving #GivingTuesday.

Join us for an afternoon of community, collaboration and creating a culture of giving during #GivingTuesday Pee Dee. On Tuesday, December 3 Marlboro County nonprofits will rally together at the Bennettsville Community Center for the #GivingTuesday Pee Dee - Drop In, Do Good - Donation Station and Open House. The public is invited to mix, mingle and make gifts whether monetary or needed items. Family friendly fun and activities will be provided.

Eastern Carolina Community Foundation and the Marlboro County Coordinating Council will provide:

  • One table for nonprofits to showcase themselves from 3:30-6:30 p.m. at the Bennettsville Community Center
  • Event advertising

  • Structured Social Media Campaign

Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Since its inaugural year in 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy with events throughout the year and a growing catalog of resources.
